Already running a successful top-soil business (a bi-product of the fisheries business) David de Vere, who runs the company wanted to diversify further into wood fuel.
The awards were for £6,380 for a telehandler to allow the safe handling of logs on site and for £24,633 towards the provision of a barn, log deck and firewood processor. The awards enabled the business to fully utilise its staff in a year-round capacity.
