What is the Surrey Hills LEADER Grant Programme?

Rural businesses such as farmers and growers, retailers, tourism, rural enterprises, foresters, producers and community groups may apply for funding to develop projects which improve the financial and environmental performance of rural communities and businesses without damaging the countryside.

 

The Surrey Hills LEADER grant programme will:

 

  • Increase the competitiveness and profitability of rural businesses
  • Encourage the development and long term sustainability of rural businesses and projects
  • Create vibrant rural communities

Under the programme, grants of up to £50,000 can be awarded to any one project.
